| All - As some of you may know, I have spent alot of money over the last 4-5 years ( some may argue needlessly ) in my car trying to get it to where it is today. At that time, tt.com was the Z site of choice, but the knowledge on how to most efficiently get to high rwhp and what amount is streetable and/or laggy was not what it is today. Back then cars like Wags and Chris(NJ) and even Alex Lee were the top cars that made you "oooh" and "ahhh" when you saw them. I still remember the thrill of a stage 3 car !!! I used cars like Kyle Puckett (IPP) and Mike Kojima's as a template on what I wanted to do to mine. Every month I couldn't wait to read about Kyle's car or anything Z related in Turbo or Sport Compact Car, etc. I remember the first issue of Modified Magazine and I also remember how psyched I used to get when I would get the annual Stillen catalog ( egad , barf, barf ). Fortunately, most of the parts that I bought I was able to / and have been able to resell and use towards other performance parts. Throughout this time, I have developed some close friends throughout the country / Z community and through my pocket ( haha ) have fostered some relationships with most of the top vendors here on tt.net (initially Got Rice, YugoBernie , Kyle(IPP), Greg (Specialty Z), Ash( Ash Spec), Russell( Z1) ~ to just name a few.
After building up My Devils Z, I recently came into purchasing another Z as some of you may recall.
I have decided to do a complete build up on that car with the goal to have even more RWHP than my personal car. ********************************************** Because I have decided to build this car up, I have decided to open a part time business. It is called The Devils Z.com. By opening a business, I can take all my Z expenses and have uncle sam "eat it" so to speak. I have been in discussions with the larger reputable vendors here on tt.net about offerring preferred pricing on group buy deals and they all are on board to help where they can. I need to buy alot of things for this car. If you guys have been following my posts in the classified section, I have been selling alot of parts. Now it's time for the build up. I WILL BE OFFERRING GROUP BUYS ON SELECT PRODUCTS BY SPECIALTY Z, IMPORT PARTS PRO, ASH SPEC, and Z1.
Some of the items that I am buying for my project Z ( aka: The Demon ) are 1) ASH Spec intercooler piping
2) ASH Spec intercoolers
3) Z1 GT28 RS turbos
4) Labree or Ash Spec exhaust
5) Z1 1 piece driveshafts
6) RPS products
7) Import Parts Pro items ( engines anyone ??? )
8) Entertain offers on other items that are in high demand ....mike smith manifolds, 300 degree fuel rails anyone ??? , water injection, big brake kits, NOS anyone?, etc 9) Have access to "courtesy" type prices at my local Nissan dealership
and I am setup with a couple non tt.net vendors where I can get things like : Sard injectors, Blitz, Greddy, HKS products, etc.
I have been using my contacts to get things accomplished like 60MM throttle body modifications, custom dyno tuning by Ash, very very reasonable dyno rates, customer car build ups ( Rob Dawkins, Joe Dorneo [ Ash is doing a NA / TT conversion in a 7 day period at the end of March 06 - should be fun ], etc ) I can offer performance parts on a item by item basis, but that is not my focus and I don't have the time for that type of customer service. I am not looking at this as a major source or revenue. I am keeping my day job ( that pays quite well ). I figure that group buys help us out and help our vendors out. I will have very little mark up due to low operating expenses on group buys, no sales tax in Delaware, and a "will speak about what I know works type of attitude." My vision is really to provide a service that wasn't easily available when I was building my car. All non-group buy items I will encourage to contact the vendors directly. I will not detail pricing on my site to ensure the continual support of our vendors. Lets unite our buying power where we all can benefit! I'm sure there are alot of you that would love to have a 500rwhp without spending 500rwhp money! Stay tuned to my website, I am in the process of completing it. It will detail what I call "power stages" based on my personal experiences and will detail dyno runs files that you can download and manipulate. I have a bunch a cool ideas for the site that I think will help the uninformed make an educated decision. Enjoy ~ I hope you guys can benefit from this.
